Ubuntu Touch OTA-8 will be released on March 6

The UBports community has sent invitations to community members to test the next OTA maintenance update for the Ubuntu Touch mobile system. The Ubuntu Touch OTA-8 update is scheduled to be released on March 6, 2019, and promises to provide a more reliable experience for Ubuntu phones. But before the official release, the UBports community wants your help, more people test the pre-release version and report on various issues that may be encountered.

Ubuntu Touch OTA-6

Focused on improving the Morph browser in the Ubuntu Touch OTA-8 update, including support for favicons, new topic error pages, custom user scripts, and better loading of the initial page of the Web App, system-level theme support for tag themes, providing better keyboard support for more devices.

Ubuntu Touch OTA-8 has also been updated with other components and apps, with the Contacts app for a better search for contacts, a new button color that fits the design guide and more…
