ASRock, Biostar and EVGA launched a variety of Z690 motherboards

With the release of Intel’s 12th-generation Core series processors, major motherboard manufacturers have begun to launch Z690 motherboards. In addition to the G.Skill that users are familiar with, other motherboard manufacturers have also released many products, such as Colorful. Recently, ASRock, Biostar, and EVGA also launched a number of Z690 motherboards.

ASRock launched the high-end Z690 Taichi, which uses a 20-phase Dr.MOS design, and the latest SPS technology provides strong overclocking performance and is equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port. In addition, this motherboard has a SATA & USB port independent of other ports. Once this function is activated from the BIOS settings, the port will be cut off from other ports to prevent malware and ransomware access.

ASRock also launched Z690 PG Velocita, Z690 PG Riptide, Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4, Z690 Extreme, and Z690 Steel Legend, as well as Z690 Pro RS motherboards, covers entry to high-end, mini-ITX, mATX, and ATX specifications.

Biostar released three Z690 motherboards, all of which belong to ATX specifications. Z690 VALKYRIE and Z690A VALKYRIE are flagship products. They use a 20-phase power supply to provide a continuous and stable power supply. They are also equipped with a dedicated cooling system and adopt an active cooling solution. RACING Z690GTA is aimed at gamers and content creators. It uses a 17-phase power supply and provides Biostar’s VIVID LED DJ, RGB SYNC, and LED ROCK ZONE functions.

EVGA launched two Z690 motherboards, namely EVGA Z690 DARK KINGPIN and EVGA Z690 CLASSIFIED. EVGA said that the two new motherboards support EVGA ELITE X1, which is very easy to use and can be monitored and overclocked, so that the motherboard, processor, and memory are adjusted to the best conditions, bringing unprecedented overclocking performance and unparalleled experience to PC games.

EVGA Z690 DARK KINGPIN uses a 21-phase power supply and 10-layer PCB. The LGA 1700 socket is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. It has a very good overclocking capability and sufficient expansion capability and is equipped with two dedicated water-cooled reserved ports. EVGA Z690 CLASSIFIED uses a 21-phase power supply and 10-layer PCB, which has good stability. Two motherboards are equipped with 2 2.5Gbps network ports, Wi-Fi 6E support, and multiple M.2 slots.
