Colorful launches two Z690 motherboards, belong to iGame and CVN series respectively
Colorful announced the launch of two Z690 motherboards, namely the iGame Z690 Ultra of the iGame series and the CVN Z690 GAMING FROZEN of the CVN series.
Colorful iGame Z690 Ultra uses a 19-phase 90A power supply, giving the Core i9-level processor powerful power supply support. The brand-new “Ice Terrace Space 1.0 Heatsink” covers a considerable part of the motherboard area, allowing the entire platform to get a more effective heat dissipation guarantee. The aluminum extrusion molding process makes the heat dissipation armor sheet have multiple layers of waves, which further increases the heat dissipation area of the surface. This motherboard is equipped with three full-speed PCIe Gen4 M.2 slots, as well as two PCIe Gen4 x16, one PCIe Gen3 x4 and two PCIe Gen3 x expansion slots, ensuring that users have ample scalability.

In addition, Colorful also released the new Battle-AX DDR5 memory, which uses a matte black “vest” with tough lines and red embellishments. Colorful said that this memory is optimized for Intel’s 600 series chipset and will provide a single 8GB and 16GB product, starting from the DDR5-4800 specification.
