Asus will support the 10th to 13th generation NUC product line and be responsible for future development

Intel has announced an agreement with Asus, entrusting the latter with the manufacturing, sales, and support of the 10th to 13th generation NUC product line, and the development and design of future NUC systems.

Intel’s Vice President and General Manager of Client Platform Solutions, Sam Gao, asserted, “Our NUC systems product team delivered unique products that spurred innovation in the ultra-small form factor market. As we pivot our strategy to enable ecosystem partners to continue NUC systems product innovation and growth, our priority is to ensure a smooth transition for our customers and partners. I am looking forward to ASUS continuing to deliver exceptional products and supporting our NUC systems customers.

Asus is convinced that this collaboration with Intel will augment and expedite its vision for mini-PCs, greatly extending Asus’s footprint in areas such as artificial intelligence and AIoT. Furthermore, Asus has committed to ensuring the outstanding support and service expected by NUC system customers. Under the terms of the agreement, Asus will undertake the subsequent work for the NUC product line, establishing a new business department called “ASUS NUC BU” to handle related tasks and develop future designs, ensuring sustainable support for the NUC product line.

Last week, Intel issued an official statement, confirming that it would not make further direct investments in the NUC business department, necessitating an adjustment to its existing strategy. Intel guarantees its cooperation with partners and customers, ensuring a smooth transition and fulfilling all current commitments.
