Thermaltake releases Toughpower GF3 1200W Snow and Toughpower GF A3 850W/1050W Snow

Thermaltake has announced the release of several white variant power supplies, including the Toughpower GF3 1200W Snow and Toughpower GF A3 850W/1050W Snow. This marks Thermaltake’s inaugural launch of a white edition of the ATX 3.0 power supply, all of which are adorned with a fully modular design, equipped with a 12+4Pin PCIe 5.0 external power interface, and have been graced with an 80 PLUS Gold certification.

With an aspiration for paramount performance, the Toughpower GF3 1200W Snow boasts a rated power of 1200W, employing an LLC+DC-DC circuit design, thereby assuring stable operation and optimized voltage regulation. Concurrently, it supports Intel processors’ C6/C7 power-saving states, offering a solution that is both consistent, efficient, and energy-conserving.

To further its allure, Thermaltake has equipped the Toughpower GF3 1200W Snow with an ultra-silent 140mm hydraulic bearing fan, ensuring commendable heat dissipation. Additionally, it features sleek black flat cables, facilitating effortless cable management and diminishing the potential clutter, thereby enhancing the internal airflow of the chassis.

The rated powers for the Toughpower GF A3 850W/1050W Snow are, as the names suggest, 850W and 1050W respectively. They incorporate a 105°C/221°F primary Japanese capacitor in tandem with a high-ampere single rail +12V & DC-DC design, bestowing unparalleled stability and compatibility. Embedded within lies industrial-grade circuit protection, encompassing Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), and Over Temperature Protection (OTP), ensuring the secure operation of hardware components.

An integrated 120mm hydraulic bearing fan proffers stellar thermal performance and noise attenuation. Through its Smart Zero Fan mode, fan speeds adjust autonomously; only activating when the load surpasses a designated threshold, thereby minimizing operational noise. However, users have the prerogative to manually maintain fan operation. Mirroring the Toughpower GF3 series, the Toughpower GF A3 series also supports the latest processors’ C6/C7 power-saving states and is complemented with sleek black flat cables.

In terms of pricing, the Toughpower GF3 1200W Snow retails at $219.99, whereas the Toughpower GF A3 850W/1050W Snow is priced at $129.99 and $159.99 respectively.
