Thermaltake launches SWAFAN GT12 and SWAFAN GT14 fans

Thermaltake has announced the launch of its new SWAFAN GT12/14 fans. The SWAFAN GT12/14 fans mark Thermaltake’s inaugural venture into fans without RGB, featuring three interchangeable fan blades. The package includes three types of detachable blades: pre-installed high static pressure blades, high airflow blades, and high airflow reverse blades, catering to a variety of computer assembly scenarios, ensuring a versatile installation experience. Specifically, the high static pressure blades are adept at combating high airflow resistance, the high airflow blades provide a more robust air circulation, enhancing the overall cooling performance of the case, while the high airflow reverse blades intake air from the rear and exhaust from the front, preventing the need to expose the rear of the fan, thereby yielding a more refined assembly appearance.

The SWAFAN GT12/14 fans are governed by PWM control, boasting speeds of up to 2000 RPM. They feature a unique design with 7 fan blades for the GT12 and 9 for the GT14. These blades are crafted from a special liquid crystalline compound, paired with corner anti-vibration rubber pads, ensuring a significant reduction in operational noise. The new product also integrates a novel fan wire series design, allowing up to three fans to be connected consecutively, minimizing wire usage and optimizing cable management within the casing.

The overall dimensions of the SWAFAN GT12 fan are 120mm x 120mm x 25mm. The maximum airflow for the high static pressure blade, high airflow blade, and high airflow reverse blade are 54.71, 62.23, and 58.17 CFM respectively, with maximum static pressures of 3.17, 2.7, and 2.23 mmH2O and noise levels of 26.5, 28.3, and 29.8 dB(A) respectively. The SWAFAN GT14 fan measures 140mm x 140mm x 25mm, with maximum airflows for the respective blades being 100, 109, and 107 CFM, static pressures of 3.33, 2.76, and 2.48 mmH2O, and noise levels of 34.3, 32.7, and 36.1 dB(A).

Thermaltake has highlighted the user-friendly design of the SWAFAN GT12/14 fans, emphasizing their easy-to-clean nature. Once the blades are removed, they can be rinsed with clear water. After drying, users can apply the bearing lubricant included in the package, then reattach the blades. It is understood that this new product will be available in the market shortly, though its pricing remains undisclosed.
