Thermaltake Releases Smart BM3 Bronze Series of Power Supplies

Thermaltake has unveiled its Smart BM3 Bronze series of power supplies, an enhancement of the original Smart Bronze lineup, now integrated with support for the ATX 3.0 standard. Available in rated power outputs of 550W, 650W, 750W, and 850W, these semi-modular power supplies are characterized by their high stability.

The Smart BM3 Bronze series power supplies are dimensioned at 140 x 150 x 86 mm, compliant with ATX 12V 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 specifications. They employ an LLC resonance combined with a DC-to-DC structure and a +12V single rail design. Achieving an 80 PLUS Bronze certification, their conversion efficiency exceeds 85%, further supporting a 200% total power offset and reaching a 60% conversion efficiency under a 2% load. The power supply incorporates a 120mm FDB fan, featuring a physical switch to activate or deactivate the intelligent zero-noise mode. This allows the fan to cease rotation under workloads less than 20%, ensuring optimal silence and striking a harmonious balance between cooling and noise.

Thermaltake has fortified the new power supply range with comprehensive protective measures. These include Overcurrent Protection (OCP), Overvoltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), and Over Temperature Protection (OTP). Coupled with artisan-grade protective designs, this guarantees performance and stability even under demanding workloads.

The power supply boasts a robust cable management system. Not only does it feature a 12+4Pin 12VHPWR power connector, but it also provides the traditional 8Pin PCIe power interface, thereby perfectly accommodating the needs of users deploying NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 series or AMD’s Radeon RX 7000 series.

Thermaltake has also disclosed the pricing for the Smart BM3 Bronze series. The 550W, 650W, 750W, and 850W models are priced respectively at $64.99, $69.99, $79.99, and $89.99. The range comes with a five-year warranty and is anticipated to be available in the market this month.
