Nvidia’s AD107 & AD106 dies leaked

Nvidia’s new Ada Lovelace architecture GPU will soon meet players, including Nvidia AD106 and AD107, which will be available on laptops and desktops at that time, which is closer to the needs of mainstream players and ordinary users.

Recently, Moore’s Law Is Dead showed Nvidia’s AD106 and AD107 die. The new GPU looks smaller than the previous generation. The picture exposed this time looks like it is used on a laptop, the AD106 corresponds to the GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU, and AD107 corresponds to GeForce RTX 4060 / RTX 4050 laptop GPU.

According to the data provided by Moore’s Law Is Dead, the size of AD106 is about 180-190mm2, and the size of AD107 is about 150-160mm2. For comparison, the dimensions of Nvidia’s GA106 and GA107 based on the Ampere architecture are 276mm2 and 200mm2, respectively.

On the desktop platform, GeForce RTX 4060 is expected to use AD106-350-A1, which has 34 sets of SM, that is, 4352 CUDA cores, and the L2 cache is 32MB, equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, the bit width is 128 bits, the speed is 18Gbps, and the memory bandwidth is 288GB/s. However, so far, AD107 has no corresponding products on the desktop platform, and due to the large inventory of GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards, it is likely that it will not come so soon.

The first laptops with GeForce RTX 4070 / RTX 4060 / RTX 4050 laptop graphics cards are expected to arrive on February 22. Laptops with GeForce RTX 4060 / RTX 4050 mobile graphics start at $999, and laptops with GeForce RTX 4070 Mobile graphics start at $1,499.
