MSI launched MPG A1000G power supply

At present, the mainstream platform uses a power supply of 650W power, which is basically enough, players with a sufficient budget can also further consider the 850W level products. But for enthusiasts, the rated power of the power supply has never been “too high”. In addition, the power consumption of high-end CPUs and graphics cards has an upward trend. Therefore, kilowatt-level power supplies are very common and necessary for enthusiast-level players. Various power supply manufacturers are also working hard on kilowatt-level power supplies. Just like MSI recently launched a new MPG series of power supplies, among which the MPG A1000G is the representative work of the kilowatt class.

The size of the entire power supply of MSI MPG A1000G power supply is 150x150x86mm, which is the current mainstream size. Of course, the most important thing about this power supply is that its rated power reaches 1000W. It adopts a single-channel 12V design, all Japanese capacitors, and has passed the 80Plus gold certification, which is very suitable for high-end platforms.

MPG A1000G power supply adopts a 13025 specification cooling fan, the maximum speed is 2300RPM, and the air volume is higher than the common 12025 specification fan. Adopt FDB liquid bearing, support intelligent fan stop technology, the fan can keep stopping under a low load state to reduce noise and prolong fan life. The interface is designed for the whole module, which is also the standard configuration of the current high-end power supply.

MPG A1000G power supply provides 1 24pin main power supply interface and 2 4+4pin CPU interfaces. There are a total of 7 PCI-E power supply interfaces. Both are 6+2pin interfaces, thanks to the single-channel +12V output and the rated power of up to 1000W.  At present, the MSI MPG A1000G power supply has been listed for sale, the market retail price is $174.14, and it can enjoy a 10-year warranty service.
