KLEVV announces CRAS C910 Lite M.2 solid-state drive

KLEVV announces the release of its CRAS C910 Lite M.2 solid-state drive, boasting a staggering sequential read speed of up to 5,000 MB/s and a write speed of 4,200 MB/s. This makes it an impeccable choice for augmenting both entry-level and mid-tier desktops and laptops.

As KLEVV elucidates, the latest addition to the KLEVV M.2 SSD lineup, the CRAS C910 Lite, is furnished with the NVMe 1.4 protocol and PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 interface, adhering to the M.2 2280 specifications. It’s available in a myriad of capacities, ranging from 500GB to 4TB. Crafted with meticulously selected 3D NAND flash memory, it delivers peak sequential read/write speeds of 5,000/4,200 MB/s and random read/write IOPS of 680k/880k. The CRAS C910 Lite embraces an unilaterally designed PCB where the control chip and flash memory are strategically arranged on one side, weighing a mere 7 grams. This harmonizes performance with a svelte form factor, rendering it compatible with most desktops and laptops, particularly those with constrained internal space.

Beyond sheer performance, KLEVV recognizes that consumers deeply value data security and reliability. In response, the CRAS C910 Lite incorporates LDPC ECC error correction technology, ensuring the integrity of data during transmission. It’s further bolstered with wear leveling, AES 256-bit encryption, and a thermal throttling mechanism, all curated to ensure data is judiciously stored. With the integration of S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology), users can seamlessly gauge the health, temperature, and other salient metrics of the SSD.

Additionally, the CRAS C910 Lite comes bundled with an Acronis True Image HD data backup software key, empowering users to execute comprehensive data backups, disk imaging, and seamless data transfer from old drives to this new SSD.

Reportedly, the CRAS C910 Lite is slated to hit the market in September 2023 and comes with a five-year warranty. The precise pricing remains cloaked in anticipation.
