GIGABYTE launches TRX50 AERO D motherboard: Supports Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series CPUs

Recently, AMD officially unveiled its Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series processors, codenamed “Storm Peak,” along with its corresponding TR5 platform. Not to be outdone, Gigabyte swiftly launched its avant-garde TRX50 AERO D motherboard, designed to bolster AMD’s latest High-End Desktop (HEDT) and workstation systems.

The TRX50 AERO D motherboard straddles the realms of premium consumer-grade and workstation hardware, boasting the following illustrious specifications:

This contemporary motherboard employs the sTR5 socket, with its architecture leaning more toward the HEDT platform design. The quad memory slots correspond to a quad-channel setup, compatible with both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP technology, supporting memory speeds up to DDR5-6800. Given its three full-length PCIe x16 slots, it can accommodate up to three graphic cards. The four PCIe x4 M.2 slots should satiate the requirements of the vast majority of users.

It’s understood that the TRX50 AERO D motherboard has already commenced its pre-order phase. However, it won’t be available for purchase until the forthcoming launch of the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series processors next month.
