Be Quiet! released the Shadow Base 800 series chassis

German manufacturer Be Quiet! has heralded the release of its Shadow Base 800 series chassis, engineered with an intent to proffer the quintessential gaming and computational experiences, adeptly catering to the prerequisites of optimal PC airflow and abundant spatiality. Be Quiet! elucidates that the Shadow Base 800 presents a quintet of distinct models, differentiated predominantly by chassis hues and ARGB options.

Spanning dimensions of 550 x 247 x 522 mm, the Shadow Base 800 series is compatible with motherboards of Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, L-ATX, and E-ATX standards. The chassis is graced with an aesthetically pleasing tempered glass side window and features versatile PCIe slots, enabling vertical graphics card installations. The front I/O panel of the case boasts a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, a duo of USB 3.2 Type-A ports, complemented by audio and microphone jacks.

The Shadow Base 800 series accommodates up to four 3.5-inch HDDs or a maximum of eight 2.5-inch SSDs. The chassis includes seven PCI expansion slots; it can house a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 180mm, a graphics card up to 430mm in length, and a power supply of 305mm (sans bottom fan) or 260mm (with a bottom fan installed).

In terms of ventilation, the frontal facade can accommodate a trio of 120/140mm fans, compatible with 120/140/240/280/360/420mm radiators. The top section supports three 120/140mm fans, facilitating 120/140/240/280/360/420mm radiators, while the rear and base can each host a singular 120/140mm fan, with the rear also supporting a 120mm radiator.

Clients have the liberty to opt for three Pure Wings 3 140mm PWM fans or four Light Wings 140mm PWM fans for the Shadow Base 800 series. Additionally, an ARGB light strip gracing the front panel is selectable, accompanied by an optional dedicated ARGB/PWM hub. Be Quiet! intimates that these avant-garde offerings are slated for a September 5th release, accompanied by a three-year warranty.
