Thermaltake adds new colors to The Tower 200 chassis

Several months ago, Thermaltake unveiled The Tower 200 chassis, carrying on the series’ emblematic vertical design that occupies less desktop space. Initially available in two color options of black and white, today Thermaltake announced the addition of new color variants to The Tower 200’s palette: turquoise green, racing green, and the annual fresh shade of matcha green, thereby enriching the users’ choices.

The Tower 200 spans dimensions of 537 x 300 x 280mm, roughly amounting to 45.1 liters, and weighs approximately 7.7 kilograms, accommodating Mini-ITX standard motherboards. Beyond the front glass panel, the chassis’ top, rear, and both side panels are fashioned with an abundance of ventilation perforations. The glass panel is designed for effortless push-to-release, facilitating convenient assembly and disassembly. At the fore of the I/O configuration, the case features a USB 3.2 Type-C port, and two USB 3.0 ports, along with audio and microphone jacks.

Inside, The Tower 200 provides space for up to two 3.5-inch hard drives and two 2.5-inch hard drives, or four 2.5-inch hard drive slots; three PCI expansion slots; a CPU cooler with a height limitation of 200mm; a graphics card length restriction of 280mm (with a power cover) or 380mm (without a power cover); and a power supply length restriction of 220mm. The chassis also supports an optional 3.9-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 128×480, to be affixed to the lower front of the case. The display, controlled via the TT RGB Plus 2.0 software, can exhibit images, time, weather, or system information.

Regarding the placement of cooling fans, the top position can accommodate either a 120mm or a 140mm fan, supporting 120/140mm water cooling. The side positions can hold two 120mm or two 140mm fans, compatible with 120/140/240/280mm water cooling. The rear position can mount two 120mm or two 140mm fans, and the power supply compartment’s top position can take either a 120mm or a 140mm fan. The chassis itself comes pre-installed with two CT140 PWM fans, each measuring 140 x 140 x 25 mm, devoid of RGB lighting effects, with a maximum airflow of 77.37 CFM and maximum static pressure of 2.3 mmH2O. One fan is positioned atop the case, and the other at the rear.
