ASRock Intel Arc A580 Challenger graphic card listed on a Japanese e-commerce platform

Last September, at the “Innovation 2022” event, Intel unveiled three distinct desktop graphic cards: the Arc A770, A750, and A580, which, when combined with the previously introduced Arc A380, form the Arc A series of graphic cards. In the following month, the Arc A770 and A750 were sequentially released to the market, while the Arc A580 remained in a stage of refinement.

Recently, enthusiasts spotted the ASRock Intel Arc A580 Challenger graphic card listed on a Japanese e-commerce platform, priced at 38,880 yen. In comparison, the price of its counterpart, the Arc A750, stands at 55,440 yen, indicating that the Arc A580 is about 30% more affordable. However, its official release date remains undisclosed.

The Intel Arc A580 is built on a streamlined ACM-G10 chip, crafted using TSMC’s 6nm process. It boasts 24 Xe cores, activating 3,072 streaming processors with a GPU frequency set at 1,700MHz. It’s equipped with 8GB GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit bandwidth, providing 512GB/s throughput, and has a TGP/TDP of 175W. Notably, this particular ASRock Intel Arc A580 Challenger variant has a core frequency of 2,000MHz, slightly above the official specification. It comes with three DisplayPort 2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port, powered by a dual 8-pin design.

From earlier reports, the Intel Arc A580’s OpenCL benchmark score stands at 82,992, virtually on par with the RX 7600’s 82,981. Compared to the Arc A750’s score of 96,801, there’s a performance gap of approximately 14%.
