Thermaltake releases Toughpower iRGB PLUS series power supply

Thermaltake has proclaimed the introduction of its novel Toughpower iRGB PLUS range, a ground-breaking digital power supply that is the first to comply with the ATX 3.0 standard and has secured the 80PLUS Titanium certification, delivering conversion efficiencies as impressive as 94%, and offering two power ratings at 1250W and 1650W respectively.

Each unit of the Toughpower iRGB PLUS series, sized at 150 x 180 x 86 mm, backs the ATX3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standards and features a native 12VHPWR interface capable of delivering 600W power output, which can be doubled to satiate the stringent demands of high-end graphics cards. These power supplies from Thermaltake are fortified with robust protection systems that incorporate overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), overpower protection (OPP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP), thus ensuring stellar performance and unwavering stability under rigorous workload conditions.

Incorporated within this power supply range is a Riing Duo 14 RGB fan, embellished with 18 LED beads, supporting an array of approximately 16.8 million colors. Players can leverage three distinctive software to manage and enhance productivity. Utilizing the TT RGB Plus software, users can personalize the fan’s RGB lighting effects, dynamically adjust fan speed, and real-time monitor temperature and power consumption. The SPM Cloud Management (SPM) enables the compilation of critical PSU/PC statistics, the creation of Eco reports, analysis of CO2 emissions and power consumption over a span of three months, and also includes a real-time alert warning system capable of sending an email to the user in the event of fan malfunction, power supply overheating, or voltage level abnormalities. The DPS G mobile app allows users to monitor the status of their PC on their smartphones, set warning alerts for overheating or other potential problems, and even remotely switch off the system’s power supply.

Thermaltake asserts that it will provide a decade-long warranty for the Toughpower iRGB PLUS series. The unit with a power rating of 1250W is priced at $379.99, while the one rated at 1650W is available for $449.99.
