Thermaltake Launches CTE T500 Series Chassis

Thermaltake, a distinguished purveyor of high-performance hardware, officially announces the launch of their CTE T500 series chassis, a cutting-edge embodiment of full-tower design, and a beacon of innovative engineering in thermal efficiency. With a central thermal efficiency (CTE) design at its heart, this top-tier chassis offers a choice of two striking colour schemes: the profound depth of black and the pristine serenity of snow white.

These exquisite behemoths come pre-equipped with three robust CT140 series cooling fans, ensuring comprehensive support for a 420mm all-in-one liquid cooler, which renders the machine an unparalleled titan of thermal dispersal.

This CTE T500 series chassis, boasting dimensions of 615 x 275 x 516 mm, is a versatile beast, able to accommodate motherboards of Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX specifications. Its design, optimized to enhance the cooling prowess of high-end hardware, rotates the motherboard by 90 degrees, thereby facilitating a closer proximity of key heat sources such as the CPU and graphics card to the cold air intake at the front and rear panels. Thus, it architects a dedicated thermal pathway, enabling cold air from multiple directions to be expelled from the top, optimizing the airflow route for the internal coolers of the chassis.

The CTE T500 series chassis is released in two flavours: the CTE T500 TG ARGB, complete with a tempered glass front panel and pre-installed CT140 ARGB cooling fans; and the CTE T500 Air, boasting a perforated metal front panel and pre-installed non-illuminated CT140 cooling fans. Thermaltake’s latest generation of PWM fans, spinning at 1500 RPM, feature specially adjusted fan blades for superior thermal performance.

The CTE T500 series chassis also provides ample storage flexibility, supporting up to four 3.5-inch hard drives or six 2.5-inch hard drives. The cooling efficiency is further facilitated by a maximum CPU cooler height of 195mm, graphics card length of 385mm, and power supply length of 180mm. On the I/O front, the chassis possesses a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, and sockets for audio and microphone.

As for the cooling fan configuration, the CTE T500 supports up to three 120/140mm fans at the front, back, and top, allowing for multiple liquid cooling configurations, and a single 120/140mm fan at the bottom, side, and power supply. This intelligent design presents a formidable fortress of cooling options, assuring peak performance in even the most demanding of thermal environments.
