Be Quiet! launched Straight Power 12 series ATX 3.0 power supply
The renowned German company, Be Quiet!, has announced the launch of its Straight Power 12 series power supply, further broadening its product line of ATX 3.0 compatible power supplies. Certified with 80PLUS Platinum, these products boast a conversion efficiency exceeding 94%. They offer a selection of five power models: 750W, 850W, 1000W, 1200W, and 1500W, expertly catering to the most demanding power requirements of high-end users.
The Straight Power 12 series, underpinned by the full bridge LLC topology, offers unparalleled signal stability. The DC side employs a wireless design, with all connections penetrating directly through the PCB. This design reduces airflow obstruction inside the power supply, substantially improving component temperature and signal quality. It also minimizes magnetic field interference and extends component lifespan. Integrated within the unit is a Silent Wings 135mm fan, coupled with a funnel-shaped fan opening, ensuring efficient heat dissipation of internal components while maintaining exceptional silence during operation.
Be Quiet! provides comprehensive protection for the Straight Power 12 series, encompassing overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), overpower protection (OPP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP). This ensures consistent performance and stability under demanding workloads. The connectors adopt a modular design, supporting the PCIe 5.0 standard. It includes up to two native 12+4Pin PCIe 5.0 external power interfaces (12VHPWR), offering a maximum power supply capacity of 600W. Moreover, it features four conventional 6+2Pin external power interfaces, ensuring full compatibility with the graphic card power supply.
The Straight Power 12 series power supply will go on sale on June 27th, with all models enjoying a 10-year warranty. The recommended retail prices for the 750W, 850W, 1000W, 1200W, and 1500W models are $189.90, $209.90, $259.90, $274.90, and $379.90, respectively.
