Team Group launched ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory

Recently, the hardware manufacturer Team Group officially released the ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory, which continues to enrich the product line of notebook computer storage.

From the official website of TEAMGROUP, we can learn that the ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory of TEAMGROUP has a DDR5 standard frequency of 4800MHz. Compared with the DDR4 memory with the highest frequency of 3200MHz, the frequency is increased by up to 50%, allowing the computer to work faster. The working voltage of Team Group ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 is reduced from 1.2V of DDR4 to 1.1V, which reduces the burden on notebooks. It is worth mentioning that the power management of the memory is moved from the motherboard to the memory, and a power management chip (PMIC) is specially configured, which can effectively control the power load of the system while reducing noise interference.

It is understood that the Burst Lengt of DDR5 is twice that of DDR4, which can improve performance and bring a fast experience. In addition, DDR5 adopts a 32 Bank architecture composed of 8 Bank Groups, which is also twice that of the 16 Bank architecture DDR4, and doubles the reading space.

In terms of storage specifications, Team Group ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory provides various capacities of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, and it supports a lifetime warranty. This product is expected to go on sale in mid-April this year. The price information is still unclear.
