Scythe releases Kotetsu Mark III cooler

Scythe, a Japanese cooling manufacturer known for releasing various personalized coolers, recently launched the new Kotetsu Mark III air cooler. Scythe has modified the compact cooler design to maximize heat dissipation.

The Kotetsu Mark III air cooler features a 40mm x 40mm nickel-plated copper baseplate, surrounded by densely arranged aluminum fins and four 6mm heat pipes. The top is covered with an anodized black metal top cover. It is equipped with the fifth generation of HPMS Lite mounting kit, supporting Intel’s LGA 115x/1200/1700 platform, as well as AMD’s AM4 and AM5 platforms, covering the mainstream systems of the current period.

The cooler is paired with a Kaze Flex II 120mm PWM fan, which is a 120mm fan with a thickness of 26mm, using a 4-pin PWM interface. The fan speed ranges from 300 RPM to 1500 RPM, the airflow ranges from 16.9 CFM to 67.62 CFM, the air pressure ranges from 0.075 to 1.5 mm H₂O, and the fan noise ranges from 4 to 28.6 dBA.

Scythe has not yet provided pricing or release dates for the Kotetsu Mark III air cooler.
