Samsung Heats Up 2024: Galaxy S24 Invites Sent, Unpacked Awaits

This year, Samsung is poised to introduce the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones, comprising three models: the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung aims to recapture its lost global market share and exert increased pressure on competitors by advancing the launch of these new products.

Recent online leaks suggest that Samsung will start issuing official invitations from January 2, 2024, to media and other stakeholders for its “Galaxy Unpacked” event in San Jose, California, which will unveil the Galaxy S24 series.

Earlier reports indicated that customers could begin pre-ordering the Galaxy S24 series starting January 19, with the first batch of devices scheduled to be dispatched between January 26 and January 30. The pricing is rumored to be in line with this year’s Galaxy S23 series. It’s speculated that the Galaxy S24 will maintain an 8GB memory configuration, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will offer options of 8GB and 12GB, along with some exhilarating upgrades, such as a 1440P screen for the Galaxy S24+ and a titanium alloy frame for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be Samsung’s first smartphone line equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, featuring internally developed AI technology. Samsung might also rebrand Bixby as Galaxy AI, having already unveiled its first AI application that displays audio and text translations in real-time on the phone screen during calls, significantly enhancing communication efficiency and smoothness between speakers of different languages.
