More configuration information of Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro leaked

GSMChina, since November last year, has uncovered preliminary specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro from Xiaomi’s codebase, including details about its screen, SoC, number of speakers, camera setup, and product code. Recently, further exploration into the code revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is also equipped with a substantial 10,000mAh battery and supports rapid 120W charging.

Integrating information previously disclosed by GSMChina, most of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro’s specifications have been revealed. It features a 10-inch, 1480×2367 resolution LCD screen from Tianma, a downgrade in size from the 11-inch display of the preceding Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, but boasts a 144Hz refresh rate. The SoC is identified as SM8550, known as Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which is expected to deliver enhanced performance compared to smartphones, thanks to the tablet’s larger heat dissipation area. Notably, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro’s incorporation of a hefty 10,000mAh battery supporting 120W high-power charging bolsters its practicality, though it’s unclear how this will impact the device’s weight. In terms of cameras, it is currently known to have a primary camera coupled with a depth sensor on the rear and a front-facing camera. Additionally, the device crams in four stereo speakers and comes pre-installed with Xiaomi’s latest Hyper OS system.

Currently, the available Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ processor, offers storage configurations up to 12GB+512GB, and comes with accessory options like a touch pen, touch keyboard, and a standard keyboard set. GSMChina anticipates the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro in April 2024.
