Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablet configuration leaked

According to a report by WinFuture, Samsung is on the brink of unveiling two new tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus. In comparison to the flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series, these iterations are noteworthy for their IP68 waterproofing and compatibility with MicroSD card expansion, in addition to presenting a more diverse palette of body hues.

In terms of core specifications, both tablets are fortified with Exynos octa-core mid-range processors, which, in terms of performance, stand markedly inferior to the flagship Tab S9’s second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. Regarding memory and storage, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE offers variants of 6 GB+128 GB and 8 GB+256 GB, whereas the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus escalates to configurations of 8 GB+128 GB and 12 GB+256 GB. All models ardently support MicroSD card expansion, accommodating a zenith of 1TB.

Display-wise, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE flaunts a 10.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2304 x 1440, while the Plus iteration magnifies to 12.4 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Intriguingly, it is rumored that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE does not accommodate the Samsung S Pen.

In the realm of imaging, both tablets are armed with an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel selfie shooter. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, however, luxuriates with an additional 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Their video recording prowess peaks at 4K at 30 frames per second. Battery-wise, the larger Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus boasts a 10090mAh reservoir, while its smaller counterpart, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, possesses 8000mAh. Both tablets synchronize with Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6, albeit neither embraces NFC capabilities. It is noteworthy that both devices have been certified with IP68 waterproofing.

The European pricing for these tablets has been divulged, with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE commencing at 529 euros, while the Tab S9 FE Plus demands a starting price of 699 euros. Both proffer optional 5G network features at a premium of 100 euros above the base price, and they are available in an array of shades including gray, mint, silver, and lavender.
