Patch 2.02 for Cyberpunk 2077 is being rolled out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series

Cyberpunk 2077″ Patch 2.2 has now been rolled out, gracing the platforms of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In this update, CD Projekt Red has meticulously addressed some of the most pervasive issues related to missions and gameplay, along with other general enhancements.

Within the 2.2 update, substantial adjustments have been made concerning the “Phantom Liberty” DLC, launched on September 26th, including a recalibration of time constraints for vehicle contracts. Additionally, there are amendments related to mission structures and the expansive open world. The development team has also refined the gameplay experience, heeding the invaluable feedback from their player base.

Exclusive features for the PC version of “Cyberpunk 2077” 2.2:

  • Selecting default graphics settings should now pick the proper Quick Preset based on your hardware and according to the latest system recommendations.
  • Introduced a mechanism for the detection of mismatched or corrupted scripts which are caused by outdated mods or file corruption during update/installation. It will now show a descriptive error message and close the game instead of resulting in a crash.

Exclusive features for the console version of “Cyberpunk 2077” 2.2:

  • Increased the sav.dat internal buffer size to 15MiB without increasing the overall max save size.
  • Refactored the saving process to not overwrite a save until we know that the data is valid – this helps prevent save corruption in case there’s not enough space for saving.

Furthermore, this update embodies numerous other optimizations, performance upgrades, and crash rectifications. There’s also been a meticulous recalibration of voice files, enhancing the audio quality for German, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
