OPPO Find X7 Ultra hardware specifications revealed

OPPO is set to unveil its latest flagship smartphone series, the OPPO Find X7, on January 8th. An increasing number of details about the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra models have been emerging. Based on the latest information, we now have insights into the hardware specifications of the Find X7 Ultra.

As revealed by the tech blogger Nithin Prasad, at the heart of this flagship device, the SoC will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. The high-end variant is expected to be equipped with 24 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the OPPO Find X7 series will incorporate OPPO’s proprietary software and hardware integration technology stack – the Tidal Architecture. This technology optimizes the SoC performance scheduling according to the current application’s demand for system resources. If computational tasks dominate, it actively allocates more cache to the CPU, and if rendering tasks are more prevalent, resources are inclined toward the GPU.

The Find X7 Ultra’s display, produced by BOE, features a 6.82-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560*1440 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, supporting LTPO functionality.

In terms of imaging configuration, the Find X7 Ultra, like other imaging flagships, is equipped with four 50-megapixel rear cameras. The specific sensor configurations are as follows:

  • The primary camera utilizes a 50-megapixel LYT-900 sensor.
  • The ultra-wide-angle camera employs a 50-megapixel LYT-600 sensor.
  • The 3x zoom camera features a 50-megapixel IMX-890 sensor.
  • The 6x zoom camera boasts a 50-megapixel IMX-858 sensor.

According to OPPO’s official statements, this model is the world’s first to launch with the LYT-900 sensor. Manufactured by Sony, this sensor measures one inch in size, offers 50 million pixels, a pixel size of 1.6μm, and boasts exceptional light sensitivity, image purity, and dynamic range.

Other specifications suggest that the Find X7 Ultra will have a 32-megapixel front camera, a 5000mAh battery, and support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. In terms of durability, it has reportedly achieved IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
