Office Insider Build 14405.20002 adds important new features to Word

Microsoft recently launched the Office Insider Preview Build 14405.20002 test version for users who registered for the Office Insider Beta Channel. This update of Microsoft Word brings important new features: new features related to the revision of the collaborator version.

Under normal circumstances, if a user edits a document with a colleague, you can use the review mode, so that the content modified by other people will be marked, that is, the change will be tracked. In this mode, changes made by users themselves will also be marked and shared with other colleagues, which means that all revisions are public.

Based on user feedback, Microsoft has optimized this feature and added the option to only track my own changes. After enabling this feature, Word will only display the user’s own modifications and will not synchronize them to others, so that users can more easily modify or mark directly. The document is for your own reference, no matter what you add, it will not be shown to others.

To do so, go to the Review tab and open the dropdown menu on the Track Changes button; then select Just Mine.
