Nvidia releases image comparison & analysis tool (ICAT)

With the native support of the Unreal Engine plug-in and Unity, NVIDIA DLSS has developed rapidly recently. In this month, 10 games introduced DLSS technology, making the number of games and applications currently supporting this technology more than 130. In order to have better image quality and performance, Nvidia launched the DLSS 2.3 version, which uses motion vectors more intelligently to improve the details of objects in motion, particle reconstruction, ghosting, and time stability.
NVIDIA has provided support for DLSS 2.3 in the GeForce Game Ready 496.76 WHQL driver released today. The first batch of games supporting the DLSS 2.3 version has fifteen games:
  • Baldur’s Gate 3
  • Bright Memory: Infinite
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Crysis 2 Remastered
  • Crysis 3 Remastered
  • Deathloop
  • DOOM Eternal
  • Farming Simulator 22
  • Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto 3 Definitive Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto Vice City Definitive Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Definitive Edition
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider

Nvidia also released a new image quality comparison and analysis tool called ICAT, allowing players to compare game screenshots and video image quality more quickly and easily. ICAT can compare up to four screenshots or videos through sliders, side-by-side comparison, and pixel-level zoom observation so that players can compare in space and time to find differences.
