MSI releases MEG Ai1300P – the World’s First ATX 3.0 Compliant PSU

MSI announced the launch of the MEG Ai1300P, the world’s first power supply fully compliant with ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standards for platforms using next-generation CPUs and GPUs. This means that the new power supply can withstand twice the total power load peak or three times the GPU power load peak at intervals between 1 and 10 milliseconds.

According to leaked information two months ago, MSI plans to launch two new MEG series power supplies this year, as well as three MPG series power supplies. The MEG series are MEG Ai1000P (rated power 1000W) and MEG Ai1300P (rated power 1300W), both of which are based on the new MSI GI engine and have obtained 80 PLUS platinum certification.

MEG Ai1300P is equipped with a native 12+4Pin PCIe power supply interface, which fully meets PCI-SIG’s “12VHPWR High Power Connector (H+)” standard. It can be used in all future high-performance graphics cards, providing up to 600W of power, while the connector is made of copper alloy for increased security. Although MSI has not announced the detailed parameters of MEG Ai1300P, it can be seen from the picture that the power supply is equipped with sufficient interfaces, including multiple traditional PCIe power supply interfaces and SATA power supply interfaces, which are sufficient to meet the needs of most users.

MSI also provides an interesting feature on the MEG Ai1300P power supply, which is connected to the power supply through the USB 2.0 interface, allowing the system to read various voltage loads, real-time power, fan speed, and other data. Users can use the Gamer Intelligence application to monitor various operating parameters of the power supply and control their host in real-time.

MSI has not yet announced the price of the MEG Ai1300P power supply and confirmed the specific time to market.
