MSI expands the scope of AMD AGESA 1.2.0.4 BIOS update, Covers almost all 400/500 series motherboards

About a week ago, MSI announced that it has begun to push AMD AGESA 1.2.0.4 BIOS firmware update for its B450/B550 series motherboards. This is the first motherboard manufacturer to provide this firmware version. There are seven B450/B550 series motherboards in the first batch, including two B450 motherboards and five B550 motherboards.

According to the Wccftech report, MSI has expanded the AMD AGESA 1.2.0.4 BIOS firmware update scope to almost all of its X570, X470, B550, B450, and A520 series motherboards. This version updates the SMU firmware of AMD Ryzen series processors, including Vermeer (Ryzen 5000 series), Cezanne (Ryzen 5000G series), and Picasso (Ryzen 3000G series).

In addition, TPM will be enabled on the motherboard by default after the update, which means that users can install and run the Windows 11 operating system.
