Kingston launches new USB flash drive DataTraveler Max: Read speed up to 1GB/s

Kingston announced that it will launch a new high-performance U disk, DataTraveler Max. This is a high-performance flash drive with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard interface (Type-C), which can provide up to 1000MB/s read speed and 900MB/s write speed.

Kingston DataTraveler Max is designed with both portability and ease of use. The non-slip material of the shell is durable. The push-pull design can well protect the USB Type-C interface. On the back of the DataTraveler Max, there is also an LED indicator, allowing users to know the working status of the U disk at any time, and the design of the rear keyring is convenient for users to carry at any time. Carissa Blegen, Kingston’s flash memory product manager, said:
DT Max offers industry-leading speeds and uncompromised storage space to enable consumers to create and keep up with today’s content demands. We deliver unparalleled performance that our customers have come to know and expect, and with this launch we are proud to set a new bar for USB-C flash drives.
The overall size of the DataTraveler Max is 82.17mm x 22.00mm x 9.02mm and the weight is 12g. Kingston provides three different storage capacities, namely 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The product is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, macOS (10.14.x or above), Linux (2.6.x or above), and Chrome OS.

DataTraveler Max will be available in the near future. Kingston has not announced the price yet. Different storage capacity versions will provide a 5-year warranty and free technical support services.
