Japanese PC manufacturer launches new Noctua custom graphics card, RTX 4070/4060Ti Silent Master

This year, ASUS and Noctua have once again collaborated to unveil the GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua Edition. Building upon the foundation of their prior RTX 30 series Noctua variant, this partnership seamlessly integrates Noctua’s fan prowess with ASUS’s custom thermal plate, culminating in a design with a thickness spanning 4.3 slots, and featuring two Noctua NF-A12x25 fans. This product has undoubtedly piqued the interest of numerous enthusiasts, eliciting a myriad of reviews ranging from commendations to criticisms. Some bemoan its hefty dimensions, while others laud its impeccable marriage of cooling efficiency and acoustic serenity.

Recently, the Japanese PC manufacturer Sycom, in conjunction with Noctua and Nagao, launched a graphics card product reminiscent of the ASUS Noctua Edition, christened the “RTX 4070/4060Ti Silent Master.” It offers variations, including the RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, and RTX 4060 Ti 16GB.

Contrary to ASUS’s adoption of Noctua’s quintessential color palette— a blend of beige and brown—Sycom, in collaboration with Nagao, has curated a custom black chassis designed to house two Noctua fans, presenting an array of dimensions to cater to diverse preferences.

The RTX 4070 Silent Master, encompassing 3.5 slots, is equipped solely with an 8Pin power connector and comes with a backplate. It boasts two 120mm NF-A12x25 LS-PWM fans, complemented by four 8mm copper heat pipes, supporting fan stoppage under low loads. Officially, this graphics card operates at a noise level of a mere 37.1 decibels while maintaining a temperature below 60°C.

The RTX 4060Ti Silent Master showcases a more compact design, with a thickness equivalent to 2.2 slots, mirroring mainstream graphics cards. It too possesses an 8Pin power connector and is complemented by a backplate. The ensemble includes two 90mm NF-A9x14 PWM fans and three 6mm copper heat pipes, again supporting fan cessation under diminished loads. Despite the heightened rotational speed of 2200 RPM, as compared to the 120mm fan utilized by the RTX 4070, the official noise level remains a subtle 39.4 decibels, while the average temperature is recorded at 59.6°C.
