Intel Core i9-12900KF/i7-12700KF/i5-12600KF benchmark results leaked

In Intel’s upcoming 12th-generation Core series processors, in addition to the confirmed Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K processors, as well as the supporting Z690 chipset, there should also be three processors, Core i9-12900KF, Core i7-12700KF, and Core i5-12600KF. However, the KF version of the processor has been rarely seen. In addition, there is not much information on models with a TDP of 65W.

Recently, the Middle East media Sakhtafzarmag leaked the test results of Core i9-12900KF, Core i7-12700KF, and Core i5-12600KF processors, and revealed Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K, and Core i9- some specifications and prices of 12900, Core i7-12700, Core i5-12600, and Core i5-12400.

Processor Price Core/Thread Frequency Cache TDP
Core i9-12900K $599 8P+8E/24 3.2~5.3 GHz 30MB 125W
Core i9-12900 $509 8P+8E/24 ?~5.3 GHz 30MB 65W
Core i7-12700K $429 8P+4E/20 3.6~5.0 GHz 25MB 125W
Core i7-12700 $359 8P+4E/20 ?~5.0 GHz 25MB 65W
Core i5-12600K $279 6P+4E/16 3.7~4.9 GHz 20MB 125W
Core i5-12600 $249 6P/12 ? ? 65W
Core i5-12400 $203 6P/12 ? ? 65W
In the single-threaded benchmark test of Cinebench R23, Alder Lake-S has performed very well, faster than current processors.
In the multi-threaded benchmark test, the Core i9-12900KF is equivalent to the Ryzen 9 5950X, the Core i7-12700KF is faster than the Ryzen 9 5900X, and the Core i5-12600KF is also stronger than the Ryzen 7 5800X.
In the encoding test, the Intel Core i9-12900KF is faster than AMD Ryzen 9 5950X in the X264 and X265 HD benchmark tests, but it is not as good as the other in the HWBOT X265 benchmark test. Core i7-12700KF and Ryzen 9 5900X have similar performance, and Core i5-12600KF and Ryzen 7 5800X have similar performance.
In Blender, Core i9-12900KF is slightly faster than Ryzen 9 5950X. Compared with Rocket Lake and Comet Lake, Alder Lake has greatly improved in this project. Core i7-12700KF is closer to Ryzen 9 5900X, while Core i5-12600KF is faster than Ryzen 7 5800X.

The performance of Intel’s new processors in PCMark is not so good, and Alder Lake-S has lost to the corresponding competitors.
Of course, no conclusion can be drawn immediately based on these test results. After all, these benchmark tests may differ from the final product test scores, and it is not even clear whether these benchmark tests were performed on Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating systems.
