FSP Launches New HYDRO PTM X Pro Series Power Supplies

FSP announced the launch of the new HYDRO PTM X Pro series power supply. FSP said that the new HYDRO PTM X Pro series power supply is compact, powerful, and stylish, with unparalleled versatility, and the new revolutionary design makes it smaller in size. Thanks to the industrial-grade conformal coating on the exterior of the new power supply, it provides better protection in harsh conditions such as dust, stains, and wet work environments.

The overall size of the HYDRO PTM X Pro series power supply is 130 x 150 x 86 mm, which is shorter than ordinary ATX power supplies, providing more space and ensuring better compatibility. It provides two specifications of 850W and 1000W, both of which adopt a completely modular design, adding an ECO semi-fanless switch, and the power supply fan can be stopped at 30% load, allowing users to get a zero-noise experience.

This series of power supplies have obtained the 80 PLUS Platinum certification and adopted technologies such as single-channel 12V output (850W up to 70.83A/1000W up to 83.33A) and LLC resonant half-bridge topology. It also provides comprehensive protection for the power supply, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), over-power protection (OPP), and over-temperature protection (OTP), ensuring performance and stability under demanding workloads.

HYDRO PTM X Pro series power supply is equipped with a 20Pin/24Pin motherboard power supply interface, two 4+4pin CPU power supply interfaces, twelve SATA power supply interfaces, six 6+2Pin PCIe power supply interfaces, three D-type power supply interfaces, and an FDD power supply interface.

The Hydro PTM X Pro 1000W is priced at $199 and the Hydro PTM X Pro 850W is priced at $179, and the time to market is not yet known.
