ASRock introduced a new Arc A380 graphics card

Intel’s Arc A380 is a graphics card tailored to meet the needs of mainstream gamers. With a power consumption of a mere 75W, this model not only boasts a compact design but also eliminates the necessity for an external power supply. According to a report by Tom’s Hardware, ASRock recently introduced a new Arc A380 graphics card on its official website: the Intel Arc A380 Low Profile 6GB, distinguished by its half-height design.

As per the specifications listed on ASRock’s official website, the dimensions of this card are 169 x 69 x 39 mm, with a weight of only 263 grams. Despite its diminutive size, the card maintains a dual-fan design with smart start-stop functionality. Lacking an external power supply interface, it consumes 75W, operates at a frequency of 2000MHz, and recommends a 450W power supply. This graphics card is particularly suitable for small-sized desktops, especially those used for business.

However, it should be noted that the Intel Arc A380 Low Profile 6GB does not offer a plethora of video output interfaces, only featuring one HDMI 2.0b and one DisplayPort 2.0, hence it supports a maximum of two screens.

While information is already available on the official website, the exact price of this graphics card remains undisclosed. Yet, one can presume that the MSRP would not be exorbitant, given that the Arc A380 is not a particularly costly card. For users with specific needs, this half-height card could become their new alternative, supplementing the GTX 1650 and RX 6400. As a side note, MSI had earlier released a similar half-height card, the Intel Arc A380 6G, measuring 172mm x 75mm x 38mm, slightly larger than ASRock’s offering.
