ASRock demonstrated the DeskMini Max host in Japan

Recently, in a special live broadcast event held at the Despara computer store in Japan, ASRock employees showed off the new DeskMini Max small host that was previously released on COMPUTEX 20201.
DeskMini Max is a small host with a volume of 9L and an optical drive. It is equipped with an ASRock X300-ITX motherboard and supports AMD Ryzen 2000 to 5000 series (maximum TDP is 105W) and all processors using AM4 sockets. However, this is not a standard Mini-ITX motherboard, but an extended version specially customized by ASRock. It is equipped with four size memory slots and a PCI-E x16 slot.

ASRock’s DeskMax has enough space to accommodate mini-ITX graphics cards with a maximum length of 20 cm. During the introduction, ASRock listed four GPUs for consumers and professionals to choose from, including ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini, NVIDIA Quadro P2000, and AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100 released products. There is also an AMD Radeon P120 ITX graphics card from ASRock. This is a model that has not been heard before, which has aroused the curiosity of many people.

AMD Radeon P120 ITX graphics card may be the internal name of ASRock’s unlaunched product. After all, AMD has not released a P-series product so far, and it is not yet clear about the positioning and performance of this product. The ASRock Challenger series stickers are affixed to the graphics card, suggesting the possible name of the new graphics card. In the introduction, ASRock also showed what the graphics card looks like when installed in the chassis. You can see that there is an 8Pin external power interface.

From the perspective of product positioning and possible specifications, ASRock’s AMD Radeon P120 ITX graphics card is likely to be a new product that will be launched soon, that is, the Radeon RX 6600/RX 6600 XT graphics card with Navi 23 core. Due to the lack of relevant information, it can only be pure speculation at present.
