Apple recruits technical talent proficient in Web 3.0

Although compared with other competitors, Apple seems to be low-key in the recent development trend of the Metaverse, but it still recruits relevant technical talents externally. For example, a few days ago, it has begun to recruit creative directors who are proficient in Web 3.0 content and related technologies, as well as content sales directors, and also recruited business development managers for alternative payment services in May last year, and hoped that people with experience in cryptocurrency-related payment services should apply.

In fact, Apple does not plan to enter the metaverse development, but it does not tend to use the term metaverse but prefers to enter this market layout through technologies such as augmented reality.

However, market analysis believes that if Apple steps into the metaverse development with the iOS platform development model, it may not be as easy as Google’s promotion of the Android market ecology. However, from the perspective of web applications with an open architecture, Apple obviously has many opportunities to gain a foothold, especially in order to expand applications such as augmented reality.

While Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and many technology companies have successively invested in the development of Web 3.0, Metaverse, and other trends, it is obviously difficult for Apple to refuse such a development layout. However, it will obviously dig a direction that is more suitable for itself in these technological trends, and establish a unique ecosystem, so as to avoid itself being robbed of more market share in the development trend of the metaverse.
