AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000WX CPU Specs Leak
In March of this year, ASUS divulged in a video that AMD is poised to unveil its next-generation Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 series processors, codenamed “Storm Peak”, in the latter half of 2023. Alongside this, the corresponding TR5 platform will be introduced, featuring PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 memory. Previous reports have intimated that AMD has slated October 19 as the launch date for its new generation of HEDT/workstation processors.
The debut batch of Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 processors is anticipated to encompass six distinct models: the Threadripper PRO 7945WX, 7955WX, 7965WX, 7975WX, 7985WX, and 7995WX. These correspond to configurations of 12/16/24/32/64/96 cores, all underpinned by the Zen 4 architecture. According to Wccftech, detailed specifications for these processors have already been ascertained. Memory support spans either eight or four channels, with exact frequency specifications yet to be affirmed.
