AMD Names Phil Guido as Chief Commercial Officer

AMD has proclaimed that Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer Darren Grasby will transition to become Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, and Phil Guido will join the company’s executive team as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. In the foreseeable future, Phil Guido will spearhead AMD’s global sales organization, with a primary focus on expediting the adoption of AMD products among commercial and data center clients.

A seasoned semiconductor industry veteran, Phil Guido has more than 30 years of experience with IBM, boasting rich experience in market development for strategic customer relationships and transformative partnerships. Most recently, he served as General Manager and Global Managing Partner of IBM Consulting’s strategic sales. His focus has been on enabling clients to realize business value through the adoption of technology platform-supported leading business solutions.
