AirPods Pro 2 will be released in 2022H2

Although the AirPods 3 was released, the AirPods 2 are still sold at a lower price, and for some consumers with lower requirements, the AirPods 3 is more expensive, the upgrades that come with it aren’t attractive enough, though, so the user won’t necessarily end up opting for the new model. This is different from the AirPods Pro, which is more expensive but has better sound quality, active noise cancellation, and transparency mode, which is impressive.

In order to avoid repeating the same mistakes with the next products, Apple is likely to discontinue the AirPods Pro after releasing the new AirPods Pro 2 in the second half of 2022. It’s been two and a half years since the AirPods Pro was released in October 2019, and it’s time for a new model to replace them. It is understood that the AirPods Pro 2 will be equipped with a better chip, which will have significant upgrades compared to the H1 chip, including providing better active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and support for Apple Music’s lossless audio, etc.

It is rumored that the AirPods Pro 2 will adopt a more compact design, eliminating the ear stem. Its new charging case will, like the AirPods 3, be waterproof for improved durability. In addition, the charging case of AirPods Pro 2 will also be equipped with a sound function, making it easier for users to find it.
