Acer launches Nitro XV282K V3 gaming monitor

Acer has unveiled its latest offering, the Nitro XV282K V3 gaming monitor. This 4K high-refresh-rate device serves as a refined iteration of its predecessors. While the enhancements in its specifications might appear incremental, with only a modest uplift in refresh rate, its pricing strategy is significantly more attractive. It’s now available in markets for $429.99.

The Nitro XV282K V3 exudes a minimalist and understated elegance, adorned with a slim bezel and an all-black color palette. It boasts a 28-inch IPS display, with viewing angles stretching to 178° both horizontally and vertically. The color depth stands at 10-bit (8bit + FRC), and the display ratio is a wide 21:9. With a 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, a refresh rate of 150Hz, and a 1ms response time, the monitor ensures premium visual clarity. It achieves a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1, a peak luminance of 400 nits, and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Furthermore, it is embedded with AMD FreeSync Premium technology and has earned the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.

The Nitro XV282K V3 is outfitted with two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio port. Due to the absence of explicit details on the official website, it remains ambiguous whether the USB hub feature from earlier models will be retained. The monitor is complemented by an ergonomically designed stand that offers adjustability in height, horizontal rotation, and tilt capabilities. It also accommodates a 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mount.
