Dell releases the Alienware AW2524HF gaming monitor

Dell has announced the release of the Alienware AW2524HF gaming monitor, boasting an impressive refresh rate 500Hz, and featuring AMD Freesync Premium technology.

The Alienware AW2524HF gaming monitor incorporates a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of FHD (1920 x 1080). When connected via the DisplayPort, it achieves a native refresh rate of 480Hz, which can be overclocked to reach 500Hz. The monitor offers viewing angles of 178°/178°, boasts a rapid response time (GtG) of 0.5ms, covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut, and emits a luminosity of 400 nits. Additionally, it supports HDR10 and is equipped with ComfortView Plus, a hardware-level blue light solution certified by TÜV Rheinland. Furthermore, it has received AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive-Sync certifications, ensuring tear-free and smooth gameplay in fast-paced actions.

As for connectivity, the Alienware AW2524HF gaming monitor provides two DP 1.4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port (supporting up to 240Hz), and an audio jack. It also features a USB hub, offering several USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. The accompanying stand allows for tilt, swivel, and built-in cable management, and also incorporates height markers for easy adjustments. Dell has retained features from the previous Alienware AW2524H model, such as a retractable headphone holder and a new hexagonal base design, resulting in a smaller footprint. This ensures that gamers can conveniently place their keyboards and mice, all modifications made based on feedback from professional eSports players and the Alienware gaming community.

It is understood that the Alienware AW2524HF gaming monitor will be available on September 12th of this year, priced at $649.99.
