Turn 10 Studios have finally shared the PC requirements for Forza Motorsport 8

During last year’s “Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase”, Microsoft heralded the arrival of a new installment in the “Forza Motorsport” series. This anticipated title is not only slated for the PC and Xbox platforms, but it will also premiere on the Xbox Game Pass. “Forza Motorsport 8” was originally set to launch this spring. Regrettably, the release has been postponed due to developmental delays.

Turn 10 Studios, the esteemed developers behind the project, have disclosed the system requirements for the PC version of “Forza Motorsport 8”, shedding light on further intricacies of the game. The PC iteration is poised to support native 4K resolution, ultra-wide monitors, a customizable V-Sync toggle with an unrestricted frame rate in single-player mode, and ray tracing in racing scenarios. Moreover, it will embrace DLSS 2 and FSR 2.2, complemented by features such as HDR calibration, shader pre-compilation, and pre-caching, as well as DirectStorage.

Currently, pre-orders for the PC version of “Forza Motorsport 8” are open in the Windows store, and will soon be available on the Steam platform. Both the PC and console versions will champion cross-platform multiplayer and progression. The game will be available in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. Those opting for the Premium edition will enjoy early access of five days, and the option to purchase the premium upgrade separately is also available. At launch, players can immerse themselves in the Nürburgring GP circuit, whereas the North Loop track is scheduled to be incorporated in a spring 2024 update.
