Intel’s Alder Lake processor released this month only contains the desktop version of Alder Lake-S, while the mobile version is expected to wait until the first quarter of next year, but now many OEM manufacturers should have obtained test samples and are preparing for a new generation of products. Now the data of a Samsung Galaxy Book using an Alder Lake-P processor appears on the Geekbench database.
This new Galaxy Book is equipped with a 12-core Alder Lake-P. The model identified by the software is Core i7-1270P. It is not clear whether it is really called this name because it does not conform to the previous Intel naming rules. But it is not clear whether the 12-generation Core mobile processor will be renamed.
This Core i7-1270P consists of 4 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores. There are a total of 16 threads. The L1/L2 cache only recognizes E-Core data, 18MB shared L3 cache data is no problem, the base frequency of the processor is 2.5GHz. The maximum turbo frequency is clearly identified incorrectly. The performance score of the current processor is nothing special. It is estimated that the TDP given is too low or the frequency is not adjusted properly.
