Scythe releases Mugen 5 Rev C cooler with the new Kaze Flex II 120mm PWM fan

Japanese cooling manufacturer Scythe has announced the launch of another version of the Mugen 5 cooler, the Mugen 5 Rev C cooler. The Mugen 5 Rev C cooler is based on the classic Mugen 5 radiator and the iconic metal top cover. It is equipped with a new Kaze Flex II 120mm PWM fan, which uses a 4Pin PWM interface and rotates between 300 RPM and 1500 RPM, providing better cooling performance. Thanks to a new fan frame with anti-vibration rubber pads to reduce noise during operation, the Mugen 5 Rev.C radiator works more quietly.

With a height of 154.5mm, the Mugen 5 Rev C radiator has good compatibility and can be perfectly installed in many tower cases on the market. In addition, the asymmetrical design brings convenience for memory installation without blocking and is well compatible with different CPU platforms. Scythe says the Mugen 5 Rev C heatsink utilizes the reliable HPMS IV mounting system. This is a secure and easy-to-install CPU cooler clip that is ready to support the Intel LGA 1700 platform to provide optimal contact pressure to the motherboard.

The Mugen 5 Rev C radiator is currently on sale in regions such as the United States and Japan, and some regions will be delayed until April 2022.
