Samsung Galaxy SmarTag2 has passed the FCC certification

Recent documents from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group reveal Samsung’s preparations to launch the Galaxy SmartTag2 location device, with U.S. FCC certification documents further disclosing the device’s physical appearance.

The FCC certification documents reveal that the Galaxy SmartTag2 will embrace an entirely unique form factor, with a noticeably enlarged hole at the top, likely to facilitate user attachment.

Further confirmed by prior Bluetooth SIG certification documents, the Galaxy SmartTag2 will utilize Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity technology, with the model designated as EI—T5600.

However, it remains uncertain whether Samsung plans to introduce an additional Galaxy SmartTag2+ featuring UWB connectivity, and it is yet to be confirmed whether this location device will be launched within the current year.
