Rumor that Apple is actively developing a search engine

It has been rumored that Apple has developed a search engine for a long time, but so far Apple has not launched its own independent search engine for users to use. At present, Apple has a search engine that mainly provides business support for Siri and Spotlight, and the search engine also calls other partner products in the backend.

The independent search engine refers to similar Google search and Bing search, which can be accessed directly through web pages and supports any device not limited to Apple. New rumors claim that Apple will provide more information on the search engine in January 2023, and Apple is currently actively developing a search engine but is not ready to launch it yet.

The entire Apple ecosystem has billions of devices, and Apple currently mainly provides users with Google search in the international market, which brings huge traffic to Google. Some analysts say that in 2021 alone, Google will pay Apple $15 billion to become the default search engine, which is huge revenue for Apple.

However, Apple itself is gradually replacing the content of partners, such as developing its own maps, although it was difficult to replace at first, it was finally successful.

It is certainly not difficult for Apple to develop a search engine. But obviously, if it develops a search engine, then Apple will naturally set up its own advertising alliance. For Google, Apple will instantly become the biggest competitor.
