MSI is preparing MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI

MSI released the first four X670 motherboards last year, covering the three sub-series of MEG, MPG, and PRO. They are MEG X670E ACE, MEG X670E GODLIKE, MPG X670E CARBON WIFI, and PRO X670-P WiFi respectively. These motherboards all support DDR5 memory, and WI-FI 6E wireless network technology, and the rear USB-C will support DP2.0 video output.

According to Wccftech reports, MSI is preparing the MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI motherboard to enrich its X670 series product line. In view of the design and pricing of the same series of products in the past, many players expect MSI to bring a cost-effective AM5 solution.

The leaked PCB design shows that the two Promontory 21 (PROM21) chips of the MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI motherboard are located at the bottom right of the motherboard, arranged side by side. It adopts a 14+2+1 phase VRM power supply, is equipped with two 8Pin CPU power supply interfaces, has four DDR5 DIMM slots, supports up to 128GB capacity, and provides four SATA III ports. MSI has equipped this motherboard with three PCIe full-length slots, one of which is PCIe 5.0 x16, and the other is a PCIe x1 slot. In addition, four M.2 slots are provided, one of which is PCIe 5.0 x4, and the rest are PCIe 4.0 x4, all of which are covered with cooling modules.

In terms of motherboard I/O, it is equipped with multiple USB ports, an HDMI port, a BIOS Flash button, a wired network port, and a high-definition audio jack. MSI will also prepare a Wi-Fi module. The MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI motherboard is expected to arrive soon, and MSI should share more product information in the coming weeks.
