Microsoft provides width adjustment options for Microsoft Edge vertical tabs

Previously, Microsoft added the vertical tab function in its browser. After enabling this function, the page navigation will be moved to the left.

Vertical tabs are useful when opening a particularly large number of tabs. After all, if there are too many top tabs, the title content will be incomplete. So after testing, we think that the vertical tabs of Microsoft browsers are quite good.

Based on user feedback, Microsoft Edge brings the width adjustment function to the vertical tab page, which is still used to solve the problem of incomplete title display.

For example, when the vertical tab is fixed, sometimes the title of the web page is too long to be displayed completely. Now the user can drag the vertical tab to adjust the width of the side.

In this way, the width can be determined according to the actual usage of the user, and the full title of the page can be displayed more conveniently, making it more convenient for the user to switch tabs.

Currently, this feature is only available in the Microsoft Edge Canary version. Interested users can download the Canary version to experience it.
