Galaxy S23 FE has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards

Recently, the Galaxy S23 FE, which is set to be unveiled by Justin Hume, Samsung’s Deputy Director for Mobile Communications in South Africa, made another appearance in the certification document of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), following its exposure in the certification documents of India’s wireless regulatory authority, the Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing (WPC). This suggests an imminent market introduction.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Galaxy S23 FE is poised to fulfil the mid-range market demand for Samsung in the latter half of the year, serving as an alternative to the high-end flagship phones Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Galaxy S23 FE is likely to feature Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 2200 processor. Certain market models may possibly opt for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device is also expected to come equipped with a large flat-screen display, complemented by a 4500mAh battery and 25W wired fast charging. Furthermore, it is slated to boast either 6GB or 8GB of memory, as well as 128GB or 256GB storage capacity. It will feature a primary camera lens with a 50-megapixel design.

On the other hand, in tandem with the launch of the Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung might also unveil a new positioning device, the Galaxy SmartTag2, although this cannot be confirmed at present.
