Galaxy Leaked! S24 Specs & Unpacked Date Surface Online

Recently, the tech blogger @Evleaks unveiled a tweet revealing the detailed specifications of the entire Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Additionally, the tweet exposed the countdown page for the “Galaxy Unpacked” event. The page features a dynamic graphic on the right, proclaiming “Galaxy AI is coming,” alongside a countdown timer on the left. Based on this countdown, the “Galaxy Unpacked” event is slated to take place on January 18, 2024, in Korean time.

From the leaked images, it’s evident that the entire Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. The Galaxy S24 will only offer configurations of 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants.

 

Exynos 2400 performance

In terms of display, all models in the series feature Samsung’s second-generation Dynamic AMOLED flat screens, with a peak brightness of 2600 nits. However, the Galaxy S24 sports a 1080P resolution, while both the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra boast a 2K resolution.

Regarding the camera setup, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera. Their telephoto lenses, augmented by the Space Zoom feature, can achieve a maximum zoom of 30x and support 2x/3x optical zoom. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is outfitted with a 200-megapixel main camera. Its telephoto lens, also enhanced by the Space Zoom feature, can reach a remarkable 100x zoom and supports 2x/3x/5x/10x optical zoom. Video recording capabilities for the entire series include support for up to 8K resolution.

As for battery life and charging, the Galaxy S24 has a 4000mAh battery capable of charging from 0% to 50% in less than 30 minutes. The Galaxy S24+ boasts a 4900mAh battery, charging from 0% to 65% within the same timeframe, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery with a similar charging capability.

Other notable features include IP68 dust and water resistance across the entire Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will employ the second-generation Armor Aluminum material on their bodies, enhancing their durability against falls. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, however, will feature a titanium metal body. Among the three models, only the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will support the Samsung S Pen.
