Far Cry 6 with 4K 30 FPS requires RTX 3080 or RX 6800

This week Ubisoft released a PC feature video of “Far Cry 6”, confirming that it will support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, high-definition textures, and more. At the same time, Ubisoft also announced the PC system requirements for this game, which have different specifications for different resolutions and frame numbers.

At the standard of 1080P 30 FPS, in terms of CPU, you only need an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-4460, coupled with an RX 460 or GTX 960 graphics card and 8GB of memory, to achieve the standard experience. If you want to achieve a 1080P@60 frame, players need a set of relatively mainstream PCs. The CPU needs AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel Core i7-7700, the memory needs to be increased to 16GB, and the graphics card needs to be upgraded to RX Vega 64 or GTX 1080.

At the standard of 1440P 60 FPS, everyone needs AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel Core i7-9700, the memory is still 16GB, but the graphics card requirements are increased to RX 5700 XT and RTX 3070 SUPER.

If you want to turn on the DirectX raytracing, the CPU needs at least an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-10600K, and the graphics card needs RX 6900 XT or RTX 3070. This is only a requirement for DirectX raytracing at 1440P 60 FPS, and a graphics card of the RX 6900 XT level is already needed. It is conceivable that the DirectX raytracing requirements of this game are relatively high.

Of course, for those players who want to play “Far Cry 6” in 4K, Ubisoft also provides a Directx raytracing configuration of 4K 30 FPS. The CPU requires AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i7-10700K, the memory is still only 16GB, but the graphics card requires RX 6800 or RTX 3080.
